WOTP

So, if you take the excitement I have about borrowing my dad's kindle to travel with this weekend (that Beaton book weighs about 4 pounds), with the prospect of perhaps keeping it for a while...and rank it with all other things to be excited about spending a weekend with some of my very favorite people
in one of our collective favorite cities,

quite frankly it would rank pretty low, but that's not because I'm not excited. I am. For one I won't have to bother with the [long] list of words on my iphone that I continually add to and rarely get around to defining..(amanuensis? pugilists?)..But, there are sooo many other things to look forward to(!)...

And while those reasons will probably need to be saved for a post-New Orleans, post-nuptial bachelorette, post-birthday blog post-- for now, I have a request.

Because I'm pretty sure some people read P&S...it is a rare occasion anyone leaves a note to say they've stopped by....sneaky little s'mores.

Typical really. S'mores love sneaking around, not big fans of sitting in the front of the room, raising their hands, or volunteering to read aloud. They must be sought out, which is the reason for playing this game I believe. It is a good game. If it had a name it might be: Weed Out The Peeps.

But, I'm going to go out on a limb here, because in my own effort to play WOTP by avoiding a Fbook status that asks what I should download for my flights ahead, I'm going to ask you instead. Because FBook, as we all know, has not been filtered. FaceBook encourages the opposite--"Put it all out there! Tell us every ailment, frustration, and photograph every move you make!"...

I'm fairly certain that if you're here, I would probably like your book suggestion(s). So let's see how this goes.... So if you've made it this far, and see below that it says "0 comments" and you don't leave one, it's the equivalent of seeing a couple of cute excited kids with their lemonade stand up, hopeful grins shining, and driving right by even when you don't have anywhere to be.... So pray tell, what should I download??

I don't know if you're finished with this or not, but I just saw it. Some of my most recent favorites are The Brides Quartet by Nora Roberts (Vision in White is the first and my favorite), and The Constant Princess by Phillippa Gregory. Have an awesome time this weekend!
