Bergdorf Windows

One of my first stops when I got to NY. Bergdorf windows were featuring art from American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore paired with fashion. Here were some of my favorites:

This window featured an artist, Judith Scott, who was born with down sydrome. There are objects in the center of each of these tangled up pieces and she referred to the first of them as her "babas" which she would cradle in her arms. They offer incite to a person's mind who lacks basic language skills to communicate anything. They seem to be big tangled up messes, but really highlight an innate desire she had to nurture... so sweet.
